Meet the neighbours
North Sapphire Beach resident Laura Hooper, her husband Ryan and two kids, Lily and Oliver, love the wide open spaces and beautiful surroundings. As an equine enthusiast and entrepreneur in her own right, she identified the potential for a local horse riding equipment store.
“We both really liked the feel of North Sapphire Beach, it’s a really inclusive community and you immediately feel a part of it. We love the spaces. There are walking paths, beautiful parks, the fabulous playground, gorgeous stretch of beach as well as bush tracks to lose yourself on. It’s been really well designed. We also appreciate that it isn’t very far from Coffs town.”
Originally from Victoria, Laura and her family moved to Coffs Harbour via Ballina. “It’s a beautiful part of the world and we feel it’s a really great place for our children to grow up in.”
Laura and her family knew they wanted to live in the area but couldn’t find a house that ticked all their boxes, of which there were many requirements! This led them to consider a home and land package that would afford them the luxury of designing a home that met all their wishes.
“We decided to use Adenbrook to build our new home, predominantly because they were happy to build a custom design and their customer service was second to none. Nikki and Tracey at the display home really went above and beyond.”
The Coffs Harbour region is a great area for the equine enthusiast. Surrounded by beautiful national parks and beaches, fabulous riding clubs and a great race track, all of which open many avenues for all equestrians. On arrival, Laura immediately recognised the potential and set up a saddlery retail store on the Pacific Highway in Coffs Harbour, called Horseland.
“Apart from saddlery we stock a large range of Akubra hats, Ariat boots and Wrangler jeans. We love being a part of the equine community and have many repeat, supportive customers that we are extremely thankful to.”
